Le bateau phare, Restaurant and nightclub on a lighthouse boat in Paris, France
Le Bateau Phare is a restaurant and nightclub operating inside a lighthouse boat moored on the Seine. The vessel contains three main areas: an upper deck with river views, a dining space, and a concert hall below deck.
The vessel was originally built as the Osprey and served the Irish Light Commissioners starting in 1955. It was relocated to Paris and converted into an entertainment venue in 1998.
This floating restaurant hosts live funk, afrobeat, electronic, and jazz performances every evening. The music sets a relaxed mood where visitors gather to dine and dance together.
The venue is located at Port de la Gare near Bibliothèque François Mitterrand metro station. It opens Wednesday through Friday at 7 PM and on Saturday operates into the early morning hours.
A covered terrace spanning 350 square meters extends above the Seine River and operates seasonally from June through October. This additional outdoor space gives guests extra room for dining and enjoying the water views.
