HYB Eurocalas
HYB Eurocalas is an apartment hotel in Calas de Mallorca, a resort area on the eastern coast of Mallorca, made up of several multi-story buildings arranged around shared outdoor areas. The property has multiple outdoor pools, one of which includes water slides, along with a restaurant, sports courts, and rooms fitted with air conditioning.
The hotel dates from the 1970s, a period when Calas de Mallorca was developed as a new tourism hub on the eastern side of the island. In later decades it was renovated to meet more recent expectations while keeping the layout of its original buildings.
The name Calas de Mallorca refers to the small rocky coves that sit just below the resort area. Around the pools, you see groups of families settling into sun loungers while children move between the water slides and the shallow pool areas.
The hotel sits roughly 60 kilometers from Palma airport, so a car or bus is the most practical way to get there. A shuttle service connects the grounds to the beach at regular intervals, and on-site parking covers cars, bikes, and motorcycles.
The hotel stands in one of the few purpose-built resort areas on Mallorca, meaning the surrounding village was planned and built at roughly the same time as the hotel itself. As a result, the whole area shares a similar look and feel, with no older town center nearby.
