Cape Town Science Centre

Cape Town Science Centre is a science museum in Observatory featuring interactive exhibits spread across multiple floors. These displays allow visitors to explore scientific concepts through hands-on experiments and demonstrations.

The museum began at a different location and relocated to Observatory in 2011, gaining more space for its exhibitions. This move marked a turning point that allowed the centre to expand its offerings to the community.

The museum houses a full-scale replica of a space capsule linked to South African space history, alongside unusual scientific objects. One particularly striking exhibit is an oversized mobile phone that holds a world record for its size.
