Boranup Beach

Boranup Beach is a 300-meter sandy stretch situated between distinctive orange rocky headlands on the Indian Ocean coast. Tall karri forests and limestone cliffs frame the shoreline on both sides.

This coastal area began developing as a recreational destination in the late 1800s after the Shire of Augusta Margaret River was established. The forest and cliff formations that characterize the beach today have shaped this coastline for much longer.
