Bennetts Beach

Bennetts Beach is an ocean beach along the New South Wales coast that stretches between two headlands and features light-colored sand and clear water. The beach provides a long stretch of coastline suitable for swimming and exploring.

A local surf life saving club was established near the caravan park, bringing organized water safety programs to the area. This development helped establish the region as a center for water rescue and safety services.

The southern section serves as a gathering place for surfers and body boarders who use it throughout the year for their water sports. The name given to this area reflects how the local water sports community has claimed it as their own space.

Professional lifeguards monitor certain sections during the warmer months, while volunteer rescue personnel are present on weekends. It helps to watch for beach flags and signs to find safe swimming areas and understand local conditions.

A walking path from the beach leads to the top of Yacaaba Headland, where visitors can see the coastline stretching in both directions. The climb rewards walkers with perspectives over the beach and expansive ocean views.
