Plage de Tamaris

Tamaris Beach is a sandy shore stretching along the Mediterranean coast between Argentière and Miramar ports. Views from the water include the Golden Islands, particularly Porquerolles and Port-Cros.

This beach emerged as La Londe-les-Maures transformed from a small fishing settlement into a leisure destination on the French Riviera. The area still reflects this evolution through its blend of water sports heritage and modern tourism.

A sailing club operates here, where you can watch people practicing traditional Mediterranean boating techniques. The local community gathers regularly for water sports and leisure activities.

The beach offers free parking, sanitary facilities, showers, and a lifeguard station. Lifeguard coverage runs from early July through late August to help swimmers.

A carpet pathway leads directly to the water, making entry easier for people with mobility challenges. A specialized bathing wheelchair from Handi Planètes Loisirs also allows swimmers with reduced mobility to enjoy the water.
