Camel Park

Camel Park is a zoo in Arona with outdoor habitats for camels, birds, marsupials, and other mammals living under old trees. The facility houses over 100 animals of different species spread across several acres of land.

The park started in 1998 as a camel farm before expanding to include many other animal species. Over the years, the collection grew into a diverse facility with animals from various regions.

The park showcases how camels and other animals shaped daily life and work on the Canary Islands through educational presentations. Visitors experience this connection firsthand by interacting with the animals during their visit.

The park sits centrally between major towns and welcomes visitors daily. You can interact directly with the animals through feeding activities and camel rides.

The park houses around 60 camels, each with its own name and distinct personality. This large camel collection is the largest of its kind in Europe and visitors can observe the unique traits of individual animals.
