Ferme animalière

The Ferme animalière in Bordeaux is an animal farm and learning facility with more than 250 different animal species spread across various habitats. Here you find regional breeds such as Bordelaise cattle, Gascon pigs, Landes sheep, and Pyrenean goats.

The farm was founded over 40 years ago in the Bordeaux-Lac district and has served since then as a place to teach about rural life and animal care. It became an important learning site for children in the region.

During autumn and winter months, you can meet two wolves named Tania and Fripouille who serve as ambassadors and share their stories with visitors. These special encounters happen during this season and offer insight into the lives of these remarkable predators.
