Zoo African Safari de Plaisance du Touch

The African Safari Zoo spans 20 hectares, housing 600 wild animals from 80 species, including elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, and rhinoceros in natural habitats.

The zoo evolved from a family initiative into a major wildlife conservation center, focusing on protecting endangered species and promoting biodiversity in southwestern France.

The park combines European zoo standards with African safari experiences, allowing visitors to observe animals both from vehicles and on foot paths.

The zoo operates daily year-round, from 9:30 to 19:30 between April and September, and from 10:00 to 18:00 between October and March.

Visitors can drive their own vehicles through the African reserve, where animals roam freely, creating an authentic safari experience just outside Toulouse.
