Parc Animalier Charles-Édouard Beltremieux

The park spans 4 hectares with water features, green spaces, and enclosures housing 360 animals including waterfowl, peacocks, and local farm species.

The site initiated animal activities in 1890 with ducks and swans, received official zoo status in 1950, and gained its current name in 2011.

The park exhibits regional breeds including Poitou donkeys and Poitevin goats, focusing on preserving local heritage animal species under professional care.

Located near Charruyer Park, this free-admission zoo opens daily from 7:50 AM, closing at 8:45 PM April through September and 7:30 PM October through March.
