Mini-Châteaux Val de Loire

Miniaturpark Loireschlösser is a theme park spread across roughly two hectares with 44 miniature castle models of the Loire region at a 1:25 scale. The site combines these detailed replicas with landscaped areas and additional elements like working model trains and small waterways.

The park was established in 1996 as a leisure attraction in the area. It later came under new management when the Looping Group took over and introduced fresh approaches to the visitor experience.

The park displays handcrafted replicas of famous Loire Valley castles, with each model carefully designed to capture architectural details. Visitors can take time to explore and compare the different building styles and layouts that make each castle distinctive.

The park is located near Amboise with walking paths connecting the various miniature castles. Visitors should prepare for changing weather and plan adequate time to see the replicas at a comfortable pace.

The grounds feature several thousand bonsai trees planted among the miniature castles, adding an unexpected botanical dimension to the park. This combination of tiny architecture and Japanese tree cultivation creates an unusual visitor experience.
