Funpark Inselsberg

Funpark Inselsberg is a leisure park situated at the foot of Inselsberg Mountain with various family attractions. The main feature is a 1000-meter stainless steel summer toboggan run with twelve steep curves, four sharp turns, and a 65-meter vertical drop.

The park was developed as a leisure facility near the Thuringian Forest to offer visitors mountain-based activities. The summer toboggan run was built as the main installation to support the mountain recreation culture of the region.

Visitors come here to experience outdoor mountain recreation as it has been enjoyed in Thuringia for generations. The location blends amusement activities with the character of the surrounding forest landscape.

Admission does not include general park access but rather visitors pay individually for each attraction they want to use. Plan to check conditions beforehand since outdoor activities here are heavily dependent on weather.

Riders control their own speed on the toboggan run using a braking system, meaning each descent is a personalized experience. This hands-on control makes the ride adaptable to different comfort levels and preferences.
