Parcallario
Parcallario is an adventure park in Buccheri, Sicily, set within the Santa Maria forest area and offering courses in the trees with ropes, harnesses, and carabiners. The park has different heights and difficulty levels for all ages, complemented by picnic areas with stone tables and a kiosk serving local food.
The park opened in 2011 and was the first adventure facility in the Iblei mountains, a region with deep natural history. Its location in the forest of old oaks, holm oaks, large pines, and chestnuts reflects the long ecological legacy of the place.
The park sits in the heart of Santa Maria forest and connects adventure with the local landscape of the region. Visitors experience nature in a respectful way and use the picnic areas and local food to connect with the area.
The park is best visited during warmer months and is easily accessible by car; signs and staff on-site help new visitors with navigation. It is recommended to buy tickets online and call ahead, especially for groups or special events.
The grounds offer both elevated courses in the trees and ground-level walking trails through the forest, allowing visitors to switch between adrenaline activities and quiet nature exploration. This mix means all energy levels and preferences are supported in a single visit.
