Karukéra Land

Karukéra Land is a theme park located in Sainte-Anne featuring multiple zones with water slides, swimming pools, mini-golf courses, mechanical rides, and climbing walls. The layout includes sections designed for different age groups and activity preferences.

The park was created through the vision of Joel Deschamps, a local entrepreneur who developed the project over four years with community involvement. This founding reflects efforts to establish recreational facilities for the island.

The botanical gardens showcase medicinal plants and fruit trees arranged in sections that reflect how local people traditionally tend their land. Walking through these areas, you encounter plants that have been important to island life and agriculture for centuries.

Plan to arrive early to avoid crowding at the main attractions, especially on weekends when families visit in larger numbers. Bring sunscreen and water as you will spend hours in open areas with little shade in some zones.

A rooster mascot named Karucoco serves as the central figure throughout the park's attractions and entertainment offerings. This character becomes a memorable part of the visitor experience and appears in various shows and activities.
