Plage de Petit-Havre

Petit-Havre beach is a sandy shore in Le Gosier featuring turquoise water and a gently curved coastline. Palms and coastal plants line the area, creating a natural frame for the swimming zone.

The shoreline transformed during the 1960s from a small fishing settlement into a popular bathing destination for residents. Over the decades, basic facilities were added to accommodate increasing visitor numbers.

The beach serves as a gathering place where locals spend time with family and friends throughout the day. You will notice groups swimming, walking, or socializing beneath the palms in a relaxed, unhurried way.

Visit early in the morning to arrive before crowds and secure parking. Bring water and sun protection, as the sun is strong and shade is limited on the sand.

A marked walking path connects this beach to a viewpoint overlooking the bay and surrounding landscape. The trail also leads to the neighboring Anse à Jacques beach, linking two swimming spots together.
