Saint Felix Beach

Saint Felix Beach is a sand beach stretching about 500 meters along Le Gosier's coast, with turquoise waters and natural shade from tropical plants. Behind the beach sits a small fishing port where traditional boats are moored.

The beach was long a favorite spot for local families, especially during Easter, until regulations tightened in 2012 to protect the natural environment. This change marked a turning point for how the place is used today.

Fishermen use the small adjacent dock daily for their work, continuing practices passed down through generations. Their activities shape the daily rhythm of the beach and show how closely the local community is tied to the sea.

A coastal path behind the beach offers opportunities for walking and sports activities in meadows and mangrove areas. Visitors should keep in mind that access to certain areas may be limited to protect the environment.

Pelicans are constant residents here and serve as symbols of the town, regularly soaring over the waters. Their presence makes the beach an especially good spot for watching birds.
