La Rivière Enchantée

La Rivière Enchantée is a boat ride in Jardin d'Acclimatation where small vessels travel along a winding water course through landscaped gardens. The route passes decorated scenes and water features that change throughout the journey.

The ride opened in 1927 as one of the earliest permanent attractions at Jardin d'Acclimatation. It has operated continuously for nearly a century as part of the park's early evolution into an entertainment destination.

Visitors travel in paddle wheel boats through a course designed to showcase Native American themes, including encounters with historical figures like Geronimo.

Young children under a certain height need an adult companion to ride, and the attraction operates primarily during weekends, holidays, and school breaks. Dress appropriately as water misters spray along the route.

An automatic camera at the ride's end captures your moment and the entire journey lasts about five minutes. This combination of water travel and instant memory-capture makes the experience memorable in an unexpected way.
