Zigzag Club, Nightclub near Champs-Élysées, Paris, France
Zigzag Club was a large nightclub in the 8th arrondissement that could hold around 2,000 guests across multiple dance floors and VIP sections. The venue used a Funktion One sound system and CO2 effects to create an immersive environment for electronic music.
Founded by Stephan and Tibo'z, formerly artistic directors at Showcase, the club opened in November 2013 with a performance by DJ Solomun. The venue was conceived as a large-scale electronic music destination inspired by similar clubs in other European cities.
The club attracted international house and techno artists, including Gui Boratto and Sven Väth, establishing itself in the Parisian electronic music scene.
The club was located on rue Marbeuf and operated during late-night hours, typically from 11:30 PM to 7 AM, requiring reservations for entry. Access was managed through a reservation system with various entry options depending on the time and day.
Zigzag Club was one of the few Paris venues to openly model itself on established international electronic music destinations, particularly those found in Ibiza. This approach allowed the club to attract guests seeking international standards and production quality for electronic dance music.
