Péroké

Péroké is an amusement ride at La Mer de Sable that lifts passengers in rotating gondolas into the air. The structure uses centrifugal forces to create motion while pairs sit side by side, seeing the park from above.

The ride first appeared in 1977 at a fair in the Netherlands and traveled to different amusement parks over the decades. It arrived at La Mer de Sable in 2007 and has operated there ever since.

The ride represents a key element of French leisure activities, joining other attractions within La Mer de Sable that connect entertainment with natural landscapes.

The ride operates best on weekends when more visitors fill the park and wait times feel shorter. Visiting early in the day helps you avoid larger crowds.

The mechanism includes seven gondolas on each disc, using centrifugal force to create sensations while passengers sit in pairs across twenty-one total units.
