Spiaggia di Marianelli

Spiaggia di Marianelli is a protected beach with golden sand stretching along the Vendicari Nature Reserve. The water is clear and transparent, with natural pieces of wood scattered across the sand, shaped by the action of sea currents.

The beach is part of the Vendicari Nature Reserve, established in 1984 to protect the natural coastline of southeastern Sicily. This designation was crucial for safeguarding the broader coastal ecosystem and its diverse habitats.

The northern stretch has become a gathering place for naturists and the LGBTQ+ community. Visitors can experience an open and welcoming atmosphere in this natural setting.

Visitors reach the beach via a roughly 1 kilometer walking path from the Azienda Agriturismo Marianeddi parking area. Access is available from dawn to dusk, making daytime visits the most practical option.

Natural sand dunes covered with wild thyme and Mediterranean shrubs create distinct zones where different groups of visitors naturally gather. These vegetated areas are a defining feature of the shoreline and influence how the space is used.
