The beach stands as part of the Vendicari Reserve, established in 1984 to protect the natural heritage of Sicily's southeastern coast.

The northern section of Marianelli Beach has developed into a recognized meeting point for naturist practitioners and LGBTQ+ community members.

Visitors reach the beach through a 1.1-kilometer walking path from the Azienda Agriturismo Marianeddi parking area, operating from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM.

Natural sand dunes covered with wild thyme and Mediterranean shrubs create distinct zones where different social groups gather along the shoreline.
