Otamendi Belgrano Palace, Renaissance palace in San Fernando, Argentina

The eight-story palace features black slate roofs, Carrara marble stairs, and a distinctive tower displaying German Renaissance architectural elements.

The palace, constructed between 1879 and 1882 by Joaquin Mariano Belgrano, nephew of independence hero Manuel Belgrano, served as a summer residence for local nobility.

The building contains a library with five thousand books and a vestibule decorated with traditional Delft tiles from the Netherlands.

Located at 1427 Sarmiento Street in San Fernando, the palace reopened in July 2023 following extensive renovations to serve as a cultural center.

The palace includes twenty rooms spread across multiple levels, with materials imported from Europe such as mosaics, slate, stained glass, and Slovenian oak floors.
