Port Meleu beach extends along the coast with golden-red sand and small stone walls near the corniche of Préfailles in western France.
The beach area contains remnants of traditional stone walls that reflect the maritime heritage of the Pays de la Loire coastal region.
During summer evenings, the beach transforms into a social venue with volleyball tournaments and gatherings at the local beach bar restaurant.
The beach provides supervised swimming in July and August, with facilities including showers, diving boards, and rental cabins available from April to October.
At low tide, the beach reveals extensive areas for collecting shellfish and exploring marine life in the natural pools formed between rocks.
