Vivekkanand Sarovar is a large lake in the center of Raipur, in the state of Chhattisgarh, India. Paved paths run along the water's edge, and a musical fountain puts on water displays in the evenings, drawing crowds from across the city.
The lake takes its name from Swami Vivekananda, a spiritual teacher of the 19th century who founded a nearby ashram and gave the site its religious character. Over time the grounds were developed and opened to the general public as a shared green space.
