Tölgyes Strand
Tölgyes Strand is a thermal water park in Jászapáti with multiple pools and slides for different ages and swimming abilities. The water rises from 805 meters below the surface, maintains a temperature around 49 degrees Celsius, and contains minerals that make it suitable for therapeutic treatments and regular swimming.
The facility opened in the early 1960s as a local swimming spot. Its water received official classification as a therapeutic spring in 2002, confirming its mineral content and health benefits for treating joint and muscle problems.
The park serves as a gathering place where locals come for wellness and to spend time with family during warmer months. People use the thermal waters for healing purposes while also enjoying casual social moments and summer outings together.
