Splash Pad

Splash Pad is an outdoor water facility in Reidville featuring multiple spray jets, fountains, and ground nozzles that shoot water in different patterns. The water circulates through a filtration system that keeps everything clean and safe throughout operation.

This facility was built in 2015 as part of a community plan to give families an affordable summer recreation option. The project came from local interest in providing free or low-cost water play for children during hot months.

This water recreation space serves as a meeting place where neighbors gather during warm months to let children play together. Families from the area regularly return here, making it part of their seasonal rhythm.

The grounds open in the morning and close in the evening, filling up during the hottest part of the day. Arriving early helps you find less crowded conditions, and wearing water shoes protects feet from the hot ground.

Motion sensors hidden in the ground detect when children are playing and trigger different water sequences automatically. This technology saves water by stopping the spray when the area sits empty.
