Sica Hollow State Park, State park and National Natural Landmark in northeastern South Dakota, United States.

Sica Hollow State Park is a woodland park set within the Prairie Coteau Hills landscape, featuring red-tinted streams and seasonal waterfalls throughout. The terrain includes a network of marked trails that wind through forested sections and across rolling hills.

The woodland received National Natural Landmark status in 1967, recognizing its ecological importance within the American natural heritage system. This designation protected the natural features and landscape integrity for future generations.

The name Sica comes from the Dakota language and references Native American stories about strange occurrences in this woodland. Visitors encounter this cultural connection while walking the trails, where the land itself carries these historical narratives.

The park offers more than 13 kilometers of marked trails suitable for hiking and horseback riding, with basic campsites available for overnight stays. Visitors should prepare for changing weather conditions and wear proper footwear for the hilly woodland paths.

The Trail of the Spirits features interpretive stations along the path that explain the geological formations and natural features throughout the park. This educational route connects the physical landscape with the traditional meanings of the place.
