BAGA GAZRIIN CHULUU, National park in Dundgobi Province, Mongolia.

The park spans 300 square kilometers of granite mountains rising 200 meters above the plains, with numerous streams flowing through mountain valleys.

Ancient tombs, burial mounds, rock drawings, and inscriptions from the Bronze Age through the Great Mongol Empire mark the historical significance of this area.

The granite formations contain temples from the 17th and 19th centuries, reflecting the deep religious connections of Mongolian nomadic tribes to this land.

Located 230 kilometers south of Ulaanbaatar, the park offers ger camps for overnight stays and opportunities for hiking, bouldering, and wildlife observation.

Wind erosion has carved the granite canyons into distinctive formations, creating natural habitats for wild mountain sheep and ibex at elevations up to 1768 meters.
