Buyant Ukhaa Sport Palace, Multi-purpose sports arena in Khan Uul, Mongolia
The Buyant Ukhaa Sport Palace is an indoor arena spanning 274,000 square meters with seating for 5,045 people and a 14-meter-high ceiling.
The Shanghai Construction Group built this facility with a 160 million yuan grant from China, completing the project in June 2011.
The sports palace functions as a central venue for basketball, volleyball, badminton, wrestling, and judo competitions in Mongolia.
Located 17 kilometers from central Ulaanbaatar near the Buyant-Ukhaa International Airport, the facility includes parking space for 500 vehicles.
The venue hosted wrestling qualifications for the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 2013 Asian Under-23 Fencing Championships.
