La Scène Barbès is a comedy club housed in a renovated space with roughly 60 seats in the Goutte d'Or neighbourhood. The intimate setup places the small stage close to the audience, creating an environment inspired by New York comedy venues.
The club opened following the closure of the previous Barbès Comedy Club in July 2022. Three months of renovation work under the direction of Thomas Escaffre and Larry Benoit led to the creation of this new venue.
The venue hosts shows in multiple languages, tailored to serve Paris's international residents with dedicated programming. Sunday performances specifically feature English-language acts to welcome diverse audiences.
The venue operates from Tuesday to Saturday between 4 PM and midnight, with Sunday hours extending until 11 PM. It is advisable to check ahead about the specific show schedule, as programming changes regularly.
The founders bring more than ten years of experience from the comedy industry and carefully select both established and emerging comedians. This blend of seasoned and new talent shapes the regularly rotating lineup presented at the club.
