Teatr Polski

Teatr Polski is a cultural venue with three performance spaces of different sizes located in central Szczecin. The largest stage accommodates around 311 seats, while smaller halls with 120 and 80 seats serve more intimate performances.

The building was originally constructed between 1928 and 1929 and has shaped the cityscape since then. After a renovation in 2023, many original architectural elements were restored and the facilities were modernized.

The theatre takes its name from Polish theatrical tradition and shapes the city's cultural life by presenting diverse performances for all tastes. Visitors can experience both classical works and contemporary pieces that reflect the artistic identity of the region.

The theatre is located in the city center and is easily accessible by public transportation; on performance days it can fill up quickly. It is advisable to check the program beforehand and purchase tickets early to secure a good seat.

After the 2023 renovation, specialized stages were created, including the Shakespeare Stage and the Banucha Stage, establishing the venue as an important site for professional drama in Szczecin. This represented a significant development for local theatre activity in the city.
