Нудистский пляж

Koktebel's nude beach stretches approximately 700 meters along the eastern coast with rocky shores and clear waters overlooking Mount Khameleon. The seabed drops fairly steeply, making it suitable for swimmers and divers of various experience levels.

Writer Maximiljan Voloshin established this location as Crimea's first nude beach in the 1920s, drawing artistic circles to the area. The site maintained its open character even as political conditions shifted significantly throughout the subsequent decades.

The beach became a gathering place for artists and writers interested in exploring the human form within natural surroundings without conventional dress. This artistic legacy continues to shape how visitors and locals view the space as one dedicated to body freedom and creative expression.

The beach is easily accessible and offers good swimming and diving conditions, especially during the warmer months from July through September. Morning or late afternoon visits tend to be less crowded than midday times.

The beach hosts Neptune Day celebrations where participants honor traditional naturist customs without conventional beach attire. This annual gathering draws visitors from across the region who wish to experience this distinctive tradition.
