Greenwich Baths

Greenwich Baths is a protected swimming enclosure in Sydney Harbor surrounded by a shark-proof net, with a separate section for lap swimmers. The facility includes changing rooms and showers within a designated cove that offers safe water access.

The site started in 1908 as an informal mooring place for small boats and became a private swimming enclosure after 1923 when local families secured leases. This transformation created a protected swimming space for the community.
