Asciaghju

Asciaghju is a beach at the southern edge of Palombaggia Bay with clear Mediterranean water and a mixture of sand and pebbles underfoot. The shoreline curves gently and offers views across the bay toward the surrounding landscape.

The beach lies near Porto-Vecchio, a town founded in the 16th century as a fortified settlement under Genoese rule. This defensive heritage shaped how the coastal region developed over the following years.
