Plage de L'Espécier

The fine sand beach stretches along the Atlantic coast with natural dunes separating the shoreline from the nearby pine forest of Landes.

The beach incorporates designated naturist sections where visitors practice clothes-free swimming according to local customs and regulations.

Visitors need to walk approximately 10 minutes from the parking area through a marked path across the dunes to reach the beach.

Deep water formations called baïnes create specific current patterns along the shore, requiring particular attention from swimmers during tide changes.
