Stegna Beach

Stegna Beach is a 700-meter-long coastal strip on Rhodes' eastern shore that combines sand and pebbles, framed by mountains and crystal-clear waters. The shoreline slopes gently into the sea, creating good swimming conditions in a naturally sheltered bay.

The place grew from a small fishing settlement into a visited coastal destination, with maritime traditions shaped over generations. The fishing heritage remains central to the area's identity and development.

Local fishermen sell their daily catch directly to the beachfront taverns, where traditional Greek seafood dishes reflect Mediterranean cooking. This direct link between fishing and food shapes the rhythm of daily life here.

Sun loungers and umbrellas are available for rent, and free parking is located on the adjacent coastal road throughout the year. Taverns and small shops sit just steps from the water's edge.

Two small harbors frame the beach and create natural barriers that protect swimming areas while providing mooring spots for local fishing boats. These harbors give the place much of its working character and visual appeal.
