Montedarena

Montedarena is a sandy shore in Pulsano where shallow water stretches far out from the land. Rocky formations and sand dunes line the beach along this part of the Adriatic coast.

The beach took shape as the town of Pulsano grew and people began settling along this stretch of coast. It became known as a place where fishing and small maritime activities were part of daily life.

Near the shore, small restaurants and bars serve fresh seafood prepared in local ways, offering a taste of what people in this region have cooked for generations.

Two rental services offer umbrellas and chairs if you do not bring your own gear. The beach has enough open space so visitors can spread out with personal equipment without feeling crowded.

The water gets deeper so slowly that you can walk far out without stepping suddenly into deep areas. This gentle slope makes it easy to spot small fish and marine creatures in the shallow zones.
