Calf Pasture Beach

Calf Pasture Beach extends along three-quarters of a mile of Long Island Sound coastline, featuring white sand and protected swimming areas for visitors.

The beach received its name in the 1600s when early settlers used this coastal area as a pasture for calves, marking its agricultural significance.

Throughout summer months, the beach hosts numerous community events including outdoor concerts, classic car shows, and local food festivals highlighting regional specialties.

The beach operates daily from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM, with separate parking rates for residents and non-residents through the ParkMobile app or kiosks.

The facility incorporates three lighted softball fields, two regulation sand volleyball courts, and a skate park directly adjacent to the waterfront.
