Enchantment Beach

Enchantment Beach is a sandy shoreline along the Wenatchee River with clear views of the surrounding Cascade Mountains and forest landscape. The bank stretches for several hundred meters and provides ample space for swimming, wading, and relaxing by the water.

This beach developed as a recreational site in the 1960s when Leavenworth began its transformation into a Bavarian-inspired town. That shift in identity drew many visitors to the area and made the riverbank an important leisure destination for the region.

This beach serves as a gathering place where visitors swim, picnic, and enjoy water activities while taking in the mountain views. Locals use the spot regularly on warm days for leisure and time with family.

The beach is accessible daily and has parking facilities near the entrance along with restroom facilities on site. The best time to visit is from spring through fall when the water is warmer and the area is more active.

In winter, the beach offers direct views of snow-covered peaks rising above the frozen riverbank. This seasonal shift creates a completely different setting from the warm months and attracts visitors seeking winter scenery.
