Mullet Bay Beach

Mullet Bay Beach is a sand beach along the western coast of Sint Maarten with white sand and clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. Palm trees frame the shoreline and create natural shade in scattered areas.

The area was once home to a major resort complex that suffered severe damage from a hurricane in 1995. The damaged structures were never fully rebuilt, leaving only remnants today.

The beach draws medical students from the neighboring university who come to study and socialize during their breaks. This community helps create a cosmopolitan environment that shifts throughout the day.

Lounge chairs and umbrellas are available for rent daily, and a snack bar nearby serves drinks and light food. Arriving early or later in the afternoon helps you avoid the busiest periods.

The beach sits directly next to Sint Maarten's only 18-hole golf course, offering an unusual blend of seaside recreation and golfing. This proximity allows visitors to experience both activities without leaving the area.
