Krasnal Konstanty, Bronze dwarf statue in Stare Miasto, Poland
Krasnal Konstanty stands at 30 centimeters tall, crafted from bronze material, displaying intricate details and precise craftsmanship throughout its surface.
The statue, installed in May 2018, forms part of the broader collection of Wrocław dwarfs that emerged from protest movements against communist rule.
This bronze figure joins over 300 small statues spread across Wrocław, each representing different aspects of local traditions and contemporary life.
The statue remains accessible throughout the year near the Market Square, making it a frequent stop on guided walking tours of Wrocław.
Each winter, local residents place miniature scarves and hats on Konstanty to protect the bronze figure from the cold weather.
