Dżaruś, Dwarf statue in Stare Miasto, Poland
Dżaruś stands among more than 400 bronze dwarf statues scattered across the streets and squares of Wrocław, displaying detailed craftsmanship in its design.
The statue, installed on April 1, 2016, continues the tradition of Wrocław's dwarf monuments that emerged from the Orange Alternative movement against communist rule.
This bronze figure represents part of an extensive public art collection that transforms Wrocław's streets into an outdoor gallery of miniature sculptures.
Located in the central district of Stare Miasto, the statue serves as a starting point for self-guided tours to discover other dwarf figures throughout Wrocław.
