Złociak

Złociak is a small bronze sculpture roughly 30 centimeters in height located in the Szczepin district. The figure belongs to a large collection of similar artworks distributed across various streets and squares throughout the city.

The statue emerged as a continuation of a protest movement called Orange Alternative, which used dwarf figures in the 1980s to resist communist control in Poland. This artistic activism was later transformed into a permanent collection that continues to shape the city's appearance today.
