The site once housed leather and glove production by the Boinot factories. It was transformed into a public park in the early 2020s.
The site takes its name from the factory owner family and shows how industrial spaces become places where people gather today. Visitors notice traces of the past woven throughout the redesigned landscape.
The park is accessible through multiple entrances including Ponts-Main and Rue de la Chamoiserie. Facilities include water play areas and botanical pools for visitors to explore.
An old dock at the park serves as the launch point for boat journeys down the river to the town of Marans. This water route creates a link between two communities.
