Les Portes de l'Isba, Escape room in Creney-près-Troyes, France
Les Portes de l'Isba is an escape room housed in a dedicated building featuring multiple game rooms, including the Heroes of Midgard scenario centered on Norse mythology and Viking elements. The venue offers various difficulty levels and themed environments to suit different player groups.
The venue was established in 2020 by four founders with backgrounds in cinema, web development, architecture, and industrial management. This diverse group combined their different expertise to create the escape room experience at this location.
The game rooms draw inspiration from Russian folktales, particularly the figure of Baba Yaga, alongside Nordic myths and fantasy worlds. These elements create a specific mood that immerses players in different cultural traditions during their visit.
The venue is open Tuesday through Sunday and accommodates game groups of three to six players. Friday and Saturday evenings extend hours until midnight, making it easier to schedule later game sessions.
Players sign a special document at the start of their adventure that transforms their everyday reality into an extraordinary quest. This ritual marks the transition into the quest world and makes the experience more personal from the beginning.
