Kana Theatre operates within a former masonic lodge, housing multiple performance spaces including a main stage seating 311 people and smaller venues for experimental work. The building contains three distinct performance areas featuring an adaptable small stage for 120 spectators and an intimate configuration with tables accommodating 80 viewers.
Founded in 1946 following World War II, the venue underwent major restoration in 2023 to return it to its original 1928 architectural style created by Adolf Thesmacher. This work brought the building back to its earlier appearance after decades of operation.
The theater presents classical and modern performances, staging both Polish and international dramas along with musical shows and cabaret acts that draw audiences from across the region.
