Adventure Park, Adventure park in Malakasa, Greece
Adventure Park is an outdoor recreation facility in Malakasa, Greece, offering several aerial routes built among forest trees at different levels of difficulty for a range of ages. The courses wind through the branches and go from gentle paths for small children to demanding obstacle runs for adults.
The facility opened in the early 2000s and introduced adventure-based outdoor recreation to the Attica region. It was among the first of its kind in Greece.
The difficulty levels carry animal names: Squirrels for young children, Foxes for beginners, and Eagles for advanced visitors. These names make it easy for guests to pick a route that fits them without feeling out of place.
Since all activities take place outdoors, a visit on a dry day makes the paths between the trees easier to navigate. Wearing closed, comfortable shoes is a good idea, and it helps to ask staff about the different courses before starting.
One of the courses is called the Spider Game and takes visitors through a network of wires, nets, and tires hung between the trees. This section demands a good sense of balance and is built quite differently from the other routes on the site.
