Càmping Castell Montgrí, Campground between l'Estartit and Torroella de Montgrí, Spain
The Castell Montgrí campsite extends across 23 hectares of land near the Rocamaura mountains, providing accommodation options from basic tent sites to fully equipped bungalows.
The camping facility takes its name from the 13th-century Montgrí Castle, which stands on a mountain peak overlooking the Costa Brava coastline and Mediterranean Sea.
Visitors can experience traditional Catalan cuisine at multiple on-site restaurants, while evening entertainment includes regional music performances and local artistic expressions.
The facility operates from April to September, offering three swimming pools, sports courts, and a complimentary shuttle service to transport guests to nearby beaches.
The campground features an expansive 1,800-square-meter aquatic zone with multiple pools, diving platforms, and water slides surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation.

Costa Brava stretches from the Gulf of Roses to Blanes and hosts many campgrounds situated between the Mediterranean Sea and the first mountain ranges. These sites offer various types of accommodation: tent and caravan sites with electrical hookups, mobile homes, and equipped bungalows. Some locations like Castell Montgri in L'Estartit or La Ballena Alegre have direct beach access, while others like Sea Green Cala Llevado in Tossa de Mar are set up on natural terraces overlooking the sea. Facilities vary by campground but typically include outdoor pools and sometimes covered pools, as at La Masia de Blanes. There are restaurants, shops, and children's play areas. Sènia Cala Gogo in Sant Antoni de Calonge features a water park with slides. Sanitary facilities have recently been renovated or newly constructed in several sites, and most offer internet access. During the summer season, activities and sports events are organized, enabling visitors to enjoy both the Mediterranean beach and the Catalan inland area.
