Tharon plage

Tharon Plage is a beach on the Atlantic coast with fine golden sand and natural dunes stretching for about one kilometer along the shoreline. The waterfront is framed by a promenade lined with traditional beach huts.

The beach began developing in the late 1800s when beach chalets were first built in 1895. A major expansion project soon followed that shaped the place for decades to come.
