Camping Tunarica

Camping Tunarica is a three-hectare site along a sheltered cove of the Ubas peninsula, with around 160 spots nestled beneath Mediterranean trees or near the water. The grounds offer individual washing facilities, partial free Wi-Fi, and direct access to a pebble beach.

This camp was built to meet the growing demand for seaside holidays in eastern Istria as Croatia developed its camping network in recent decades. It became a popular choice for beach-oriented visitors and families.

The on-site Tuna Bay Grill restaurant serves regional Istrian dishes that connect visitors to local eating traditions through fresh seafood. The kitchen reflects the camp's close relationship with the sea and coastal life.

The site operates from late May through mid-September with direct beach access without long walks. Visitors should expect some wind due to the cape location, but the water stays calm and protected year-round during the season.

The location on Cape Ubas creates a natural protective barrier that shields the cove from rough seas, creating ideal conditions for boats and water sports. This makes it a preferred spot for water enthusiasts throughout the season.
