Jezero Mir

The lake has been formed through natural geological processes over centuries, with the surrounding area of Sali maintaining its traditional fishing heritage since ancient Greek settlements.

Local residents consider the lake's warm mud to possess healing properties, making it an important site for traditional wellness practices in the Dugi Otok community.

Visitors can access the lake via ferry from Zadar to Sali, with the journey taking approximately one hour and boats operating regularly during tourist season.

The lake's water is continuously refreshed by seawater flowing through underground porous limestone, creating a natural circulation system that maintains its therapeutic qualities.
